Key Summary
1. Booking and Payments

All bookings require a 50% deposit to confirm. Final payment must be cleared 15 days prior to departure for Indian destinations and 30 days for Bhutan expeditions. Rates are subject to change based on government permit fees.

This agreement outlines the responsibilities of Travel Panda and its clients to ensure a safe, transparent, and high-quality Himalayan expedition experience.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 30+ days before travel will receive a full refund minus admin fees. Cancellations within 15-29 days are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations within 14 days of travel due to hotel and transport commitments.

3. Liability and Insurance

Travel Panda acts only as an agent for hotels and transport providers. While we ensure high standards, we are not liable for delays caused by landslides, political unrest, or natural events. Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all Himalayan tours.

1. Information We Collect
Travel Panda collects personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and payment details when you book a tour or inquire about our services. We also collect non-personal data like browser type and IP addresses for analytical purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to process bookings, provide personalized customer support, and send updates regarding your expedition. Your information also helps us improve our Himalayan itineraries and overall service quality.

3. Data Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. All financial transactions are handled via secure, encrypted gateways.

4. Sharing with Third Parties
We only share your information with trusted partners, such as hotels and transportation providers, only to the extent necessary to fulfill your travel arrangements. We never sell your personal data to marketing agencies.

5. Your Rights

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Booking Procedures

All bookings for Sikkim, Darjeeling, and Bhutan require a 25% advance deposit at the time of confirmation. Balance payments are due 15 days prior to arrival. We accept bank transfers and major credit cards for your convenience and security.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • 30+ days before arrival: 90% refund of total amount.
  • 15-29 days before arrival: 50% refund of total amount.
  • 0-14 days before arrival: No refund possible due to vendor commitments.

Refunds are processed within 7-10 working days after cancellation approval.

Trip Modifications

We understand plans change. Date changes or itinerary modifications are permitted up to 21 days before departure, subject to availability and any applicable price differences. Travel Panda reserves the right to charge a nominal administrative fee for significant changes after booking.

No Liability for Third-Party Services

Travel Panda acts solely as an intermediary between travelers and service providers including airlines, hotels, and local operators. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or damages caused by these third parties.

Itinerary Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, the information on our website and in travel documents may be subject to change due to seasonal availability, local conditions, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Health and Safety Guidance

Travel to regions like Bhutan, Sikkim, and Darjeeling involves high altitudes. It is the traveler's responsibility to consult with healthcare professionals and ensure they are physically fit for the journey.
